Fireball

So, apparently there was this huge fireball over Portland very early Tuesday morning. I missed it because I was still asleep. Who the heck is awake at 5:30am anyway?? But yeah. They aren’t positive if it hit the ground, but they think it did. I wish I had been awake to see it… there is a video of it though, a hospital security cam caught it. It looks like it was spectacular!

You can see the video and a story about it on Oregon Live.

I’m hoping the sky clears up a bit by tonight, I’d love to see and attempt to photograph the lunar eclipse. It was so gorgeous all weekend, and now it’s back to being gloomy.

New Project In The Works

So, Yoshi and I are working on a new project. We’re not giving away too many details until it’s ready, but I wanted to say *something* about it, cause I am excited. We did a test last night, and we have a site for it. Now we need a layout and a solid game plan. I can guarantee it will be entertaining, even if it is kind of like watching a train wreck.

Finch and Xoie

So I went to see Finch on Friday, and it was awesome! We got there pretty early, and hung out at the Hawthorne Theater bar (I love that place) and got to talk to the guys in the band for a while before they left for sound check. Then we just hung out drinking haha. We hung out in the bar for most of the opening bands cause well, they were not that exciting. But Finch was rad! They did my favorite songs from What It Is To Burn and a few from the other album. I wasn’t really into the other album so I didn’t know those ones. Oh, and they did a new one too, it wasn’t bad. But yes, it was a ton of fun. I can’t really talk still though haha.

In other news I took puppy to vet on Saturday. She weighs just under 5 pounds now and behaved like an angel. She was a little weary of the metal table but she didn’t cry at all, not even when she got her shot. She even behaved while they cut her nails! What a little trooper. They found giardia in her poop though, so I have to go pick up some medicine for her tomorrow. She’s not showing any symptoms right now but obviously I’d rather get rid of it than let it sit dormant. I don’t think she got it from water.. I’m wondering if the neighbor who doesn’t pick up their dogs poop and lets it run in my grass (I’m the only one in my actual building with a dog) is to blame for this. Rawr. Grumble.

It was an expensive weekend. But look at that little face!! ♥

Presenting… Xoie!

I got a puppy! Her name is Xoie (like Zoe) and she is a longhair miniature dachshund. She’s adorable and hilarious to boot.

She was really clingy the first couple days and all she did was sit on the couch with me but now she is more independent and adventurous and likes to get herself stuck under the couch. She’s rad.

Here are a couple pictures:

And here is a video of her playing with her ball:

So, she’s keeping me pretty entertained and distracted. Taking her out 10 times a day in the freezing cold and wet kind of sucks though. No more winter puppies, ever.

Trip to LA

I have 25 minutes to kill before it is time to go to the airport so I figured I would blog.

I’ve been in L.A. since last week. Came to visit friends and family and stuff. I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation. I’m actually really anxious to be back home. I should have booked an earlier flight. I got to hang out with a lot of people, to the point where I am feeling more anti-social than I normally do heh. I don’t want to see anybody but my Tom Tom. I miss him like woah :(

But I got to see my Jeffrey Bean, and my mom and grandma and brother, and a couple of my uncles and cousins, and my sister and nephew, and Hilary and Sonia and Thom and Amber and Paula, and I helped Friend Tom celebrate his birthday (and had drama leaving the parking lot with the stupid-head attendant) and Harlan and all the people from work. That’s quite a list heh. I’m probably forgetting people, oh well.

I spent too much money while I was here heheheh. I bought clothes and shoes and video games which was dumb cause I had to pay sales tax, but I needed something to do on the plane ride back home. I found a bunch of stuff in the outdoor closet too. I’m going home with twice as much stuff as I left with.

I got Mario Party DS (I already beat story mode hahaha) and My Sims for DS… and I have to go to Target when I get home to buy a Fry Daddy and whatever me and Tom want to spend our gift card on. Wheeeee, I love Target.

Oh yeah and I went to a Cowboy Mouth concert. It was pretty fun. It would have been better if I wasn’t so exhausted when I went though. I literally have no energy left. I don’t think I am going out tonight.

……. why isn’t it time to go yet?!?!?!?
