So I got my new insurance card today, because my old coverage was no good in Oregon right.. I look at my card, and I am apparently now covered by.. Blue Cross of California.

I started my day off by stepping on one of those security tags from clothes and getting a half-inch long puncture wound. I hope this isn’t a sign about how my day is going to go. On the bright side, there was very little blood. Unfortunately, the bottom of my foot feels like a giant bruise.
6 CommentsLooking at cars is depressing when you have a budget as low as mine and desperately want a pickup truck (preferably automatic because you can’t drive a stick [but you’re willing to learn]) made oh, this millennium.
Craigslist isn’t helping, auto trader isn’t helping, cars.com isn’t helping…

4 CommentsIf I was making any of this up, I’d be making up happy stories, I swear. Does this much bad stuff normally happen to one person?!
I. I didn’t sleep like, AT ALL last night. I took a nap but it shouldn’t have been long enough to keep me up as much as I was up. It was hot and I felt icky. My sinuses hurt.
II. My car sucks more now. It doesn’t even go 3 blocks without stalling. Today I gave up after 3 stalls and left it in a 2 hours parking spot and made Jeff bring me. He took my car home with a little more success, and yay no parking ticket at least. Bleh. I seem to need another grand to be able to buy a car.
III. I was out Friday. Walked in (30 minutes late today thanks to the stupid car drama) and found that nobody did ANY of my work while I was out. NICE. I am so behind. This bites. No time (or money) for lunch. I bummed a dollar for soda and a cup o noodles from my mom.
IV. Getting Blackberry Pearl number 3 from T-Mobile. I just realized today that the camera on this phone is taking really crappy pictures.. I compared them to the old phones pictures and yeah, these pictures are TERRIBLE. Guy tried to charge me for shipping. I told him he was crazy. They agreed to ship it free, but only ground, so my new one won’t be here for like, 2 weeks cause of the holiday *grumble*

7 CommentsToday was one of those “if it can go wrong.. it will” kind of days.
Here’s the break down, in a sort of chronological order.
- long boring day at work.
- lunch was not very exciting.
- cranky with jeff for no real reason; made jeff annoyed with me.
- was made to feel inadequate for a very stupid reason.
- couldn’t register for my new class because “the class is closed”. also, phone system thinks i don’t exist.
- car stalled THREE times in a four block radius.
- spilled eggnog chai latte on self. burned hand.
- also spilled said latte on brand new cell phone
- … cell phone no longer works properly. i have not even PAID for the damn thing yet.
- had to wait forever for jeff to get off work so he could follow me home.
- i have no good sleep drugs
- i want to be shot and nobody will do it.
- i was in the parking lot too long and had to fish out $1.50 in coins to get out of it.
- stomach and head have been hurting on and off.
- not looking forward to waking up tomorrow.
- there’s no friday feast this week.
There’s probably more, but my wrists will spontaneously burst if I get any more emo.
