Blogathon 2009

So, I didn’t find out about Blogathon this year until it was too late for me to properly plan for it, which makes me sad. But never fear! I shall be guest blogging over at Colin‘s blog, Therapy in the Making. My time slot is from 11:00-12:30 (PM, Pacific Time). Be sure to stop by and check it out!

We’re blogging for Doctors Without Borders; if you’d like to donate, you can sponsor us

No Blogathon :(

I spent all week trying to fight off whatever bug I was coming down with, and while it hasn’t succeeded in putting me completely out of commission, I haven’t succeeded in knocking it out. I woke up at 3 this morning and had to throw up, and then I woke up at 5 and couldn’t really breathe.

I’m very very VERY sad that I cannot participate this year in Blogathon, but I just can’t afford to get any sicker right now. I just managed to drag myself out of bed to post right now, and will probably be laying back down in a few minutes cause my head is killing me and I still can’t really breathe.

To all my sponsors: thank you for pledging, and I’m sorry I let you guys down :(
To all the other participants: I’ll try to come leave some moral support in the wee hours :D

Here’s hoping that next year turns out better.

Blogathon 2007

On July 28th, I will begin mo-blogging at 6am for 24 hours to raise money for the Oregon Food Bank. This year, I will be going around Portland showing places to go and things to do here. Ok, well, I might not be out of the house yet at 6am, but you get the idea. I’m pretty new here, and I absolutely love it, so I wanted to do something local this time around.

If you’d like to sponsor me, please go to this page and fill out the information. All sponsors will be featured in this entry unless you request otherwise. If you pledge $25 or more, you can give me a place to go. If you pledge $50 or more, I will include a permanent link to the site of your choice on my link page. Everybody that pledges, no matter what amount, will receive a personal thank you note from me and a warm, fuzzy feeling on the inside.

Sponsors: »Yoshi »Laci »Bobby »Peanut »iceprincezz »Colleen »Mr. Fabulous »pledge now!
Goal: $250+
Pledged: $55.00

49 – FOR THE WIN!!!!

This is it! I made it!

I’m going to write this, then take Vinz out to potty, then SLEEEP at long last!

I’d like to first off, thank all my sponsors. I’m pleased as punch to have exceeded my goal. I can sit here and blog for 24 hours, but it doesn’t mean a thing without my sponsors. So, thank you!

I’d also like to thank everybody that stopped by and commented. All the comments were like words of encouragement, and I appreciate it!

I’m quite surprised at how much harder 24 hours of blogging is than I thought it would be. My brain is just like.. NOT THERE hahahaha. That said, I do think I’ll be participating again next year.

I also met a lot of cool people that I’d like to keep in touch with outside of the ‘thon.

Here’s to charities, and bloggers! *cheers*

WE MADE IT!

*passes out*

48 – I Still Need To Unpack

I’m looking around my room and surveying the messiness of it. My eyes just hit my suitcase.

Oh yeah, I should unpack huh?

Sleep soon. Then I have to eventually get up and clean some, and do laundry. But that’s all in a far, far away place.

Is it normal to not unpack for like, 5 days?
