A Good, A Bad

The Good: My friends give me such warm fuzzy feelings on the inside sometimes! Lionel is going to sweep me off my feet and make me forget everything but beaches, Sonia knows me so well that the voicemail she left me replied with “YES I know you’re going but I just want to make sure” just as I finished saying “WHAT?! OF COURSE I AM GOING !!!eleventy-one” Rob’s text messages make me smile, and so on and so forth.

The Bad: I may have to punch the next person that tries to tell me what to do. Everybody has some brilliant idea but nobody ever bothers to ask me why I’m doing what I do and what I want to achieve with it, or what I want. Nobody seems to understand that I know exactly what I’m doing and I’m well aware of the possible consequences. I will NOT let other people live my life for me.

Hello World

I don’t have any coherent thoughts to put together a well written post, but I do have enough semi-coherent thoughts to make a… written post

one: My earlobe hurts. My odd hole was half closed and that made me not happy because I like having an uneven number of piercings! So I reopened it with my sharpest earring (which is still pretty dull). Vaseline would have made it a much more pleasant experience but I didn’t have any.

two: My car is working. I took the battery out (read: Jeff stood there for 15 minutes with a pair of pliers unscrewing things and carrying the battery around for me) and had it tested.. the guy looked at the battery, looked at the reader, looked at me and said “Lady, this thing wouldn’t run a lawn mower!” hahaha. It was spitting out 2 volts of power. TWO VOLTS! That probably wouldn’t even run my Gameboy :| So I bought a new one and put it in (read: Jeff stood there for another 5 minutes with a pair of pliers re-screwing things) and viola, Betty turned on. Hopefully this will fix the stalling problem. At least I got the full 4 years out of the old battery.

three: The art school is DUMB. Nobody answers their phone and the operator doesn’t know anybody’s email address. WTF? They all follow the same format! Like here at work.. first initial, last name (in most cases. Mine isn’t like that for no apparent reason). Stupid stupid stupid. I bet those checks are going to get there today and I swear on everything holy if they send them back to the state again I will do something drastic like burn the school down. I stopped going there over a year ago, I should NOT still have to be dealing with these morons!!111eleventy-one! Yes I’m frustrated. I WANT MY REFUND DAMMIT!

four: Good weekend. Friday I played video games at the arcade and remembered exactly why DDR requires pants. << insert image of Katie hopping around holding her skirt down and almost falling over >>

I guess I deserved it for making Rob look like a dork though. Then we drove down big hills in neutral ignoring stop signs and it was great fun. Saturday I got my car fixed and had the oil changed. Played with Poopy. Watched a movie. Yelled at Jeff in the middle of the street at 1 in the morning. Bought mango Malibu and pineapple juice and watched (read: slept through 80% of) another movie. Then Sunday I cleaned the bedroom (sort of) and did a load of laundry. Went out to dinner with Hilary and Paula. Went to a comedy show with Jeff. That’s about it. What about you guys?

five: Clubhouse from Swork is the best coffee on earth kthxbye.

100 Facts in 100 Days – Fact 022/028

22: Magic Mountian is one of my favorite places ever. I remember once when I was a kid, they snuck me on the rollar coaster and I was too small and I almost flew out. It was the coolest thing on earth haha. I’m totally bummed that they’re closing it down :(

23: I was on Neopets when they first opened and I remember how cool it used to be back then. The good old days haha when books didn’t go *poof* when you read them and you ALWAYS had a Faerie Quest.

24: I used to work in a coffee shop. It turned me into a bit of a coffee snob and I don’t even really like the stuff. When I make my coffee, people ask me if I’m gonna put any in my cup of milk and sugar haha.

25: I could live off of my grandmother’s bean and rice burritos.. mmmm. No salsa though. They like to ask me what kind of mexican I am.

26: I cannot STAND snow. It’s pretty to look at and fun to play in for about an hour, but after than, ICK. It’s cold and wet and not rain. I do love rain though.

27: When I was little, I wanted to be famous when I grew up. Now I just want to be talented.

28: Highschool was all about extracurricular activities for me. I was in Marching Band, Concert Band, Colorguard, and 2 auditioned choirs. I spent very little time in real classes hehe.

Friday’s Feast – 110 – Week 5

Join me in Friday’s Feast!

Appetizer: Name 3 things that you are wearing today.
This outfit actually. Blue jeans, brown sweater.. the shoes are black with brown. That’s not a today picture though.

Soup: Who was the last person you hugged?
I gave Jeff a big old hug when I left home this morning.

Salad: What do you like to order from your favorite fast food place?
DER WEINERSCHNITZEL!! Hahaha. 1 chilidog, 1 chili cheeseburger, 1 rootbeer float (though, not all the chains have the ice cream!)

Main Course: What time of day do you usually feel most energized?
Gosh, these days I don’t feel energized EVER :| I guess it’s in the mid-evening, between 7 and 9. That’s when I’m most inspired to clean the house at least hehe.

Dessert: Using the letters in your first name, write a sentence. (Example: Sweet unusual spaniels are nice.)
Kites always tear in escape.

This Is A Test of the Emergancy Mobile System

If this was a real emergency, you probably wouldn’t be seeing this post.

Don’t mind me, I’m testing the email feature. Because one day, my direct internet access to posting may be blocked. And I like to be prepared. Also, what if I’m out on the town and something you guys simply must know about happens?! I know none of you read the moblog, so it’d have to post here haha.

This is from my birthday.. 2 1 years ago. MAN I’m getting old fast :| Anyway, me and Sonia and JC don’t look anything like the Spice Girls in reality but we make pretty convincing shadows, no?

edit: Sonia pointed out that it was 1 year ago. I feel much better now.
