Thirteen Things I’ve Done Since Moving to Portland
01: Got lost in SE about 100 times. 02: Started a new job that I love. 03: Met a pretty fabulous boy. 04: Stopped caring about umbrellas. 05: Went to an indy show at the Doug Fir. 06: Met some local Bythe folks. 07: Learned how to replace my spark plugs. 08: Went to a rock show that didn’t have a mosh pit, wtf?! 09: Got Oregon license plates. 10: Been amused by the fact that I don’t have to pump my own gas. 11: Digital photography 12: Discovered that 300 is my new favorite movie. 13: Lamented the state taxes. No wonder there’s no sales tax.

The pumping gas thing is the same in New Jersey.  I had the same attitude (being from California and all) that I could pump my own damn gas, but when I saw that this guy is pumping my gas while it’s 30 something degrees ouside, rainy and windy I was like, “Huh, maybe there is something to this whole full-service thing”.

Great list!  It is pretty odd for there to not be a mosh pit at a rock concert.

I would love to have a full service gas station.  I haven’t seen one of those since I was a kid and even then it was only one or two of the pumps that were full service.

I always thought it would be great to move to a new state and “start” fresh.  Kind of late to do that with a husband and daughter, isn’t it?  LOL!

Happy TTing!

Great list. Full service gas stations are few and far between here in Florida. Sounds like a great town. Have a funtastic Thursday.
