I know I haven’t been blogging much lately, and I’ve got plans to change that, but surely some people still stop by. If you do, let me know! I’m more inclined to blog if I think somebody is listening. Otherwise, I might as well go talk to myself hehe. I finally got around to getting myself a new pair of Converse, since my old ones are caked in mud. I love my shoes.

My middle name is Annette. I think I will keep my names, its not a bad name.

Soup - If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?
I’d probably use a lot of black lace… in a kind of goth but not really goth kind of style.

Salad - What is your least favorite chore, and why?
I really hate doing the dishes. I just.. ick. I don’t like touching them.

Main Course - What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
I’m pretty scared of being upstairs in a 2 story house by myself. I blame my cousin for it, and also because I saw a really freaky unexplainable shadow moving towards me once.

Thirteen Reasons I Was Late To Work Every Day This Week 01: I couldn’t find any of my work clothes. 02: My shoes were missing. 03: I had to get gas because I had none. 04: The drive thru took way longer than necessary. 05: Jeff moved out so we went to breakfast. 06: Traffic sucks. 07: My alarm didn’t go off. 08: There was an accident on the freeway so it was backed up from my on-ramp until my off-ramp. 09: Did I mention yet that traffic sucks? 10: I had no hot water so I had to brace myself for teeth-washing. Appetizer: If you could take lessons to learn any musical instrument, which would you want to learn?
I learned pretty much all the instruments I ever really wanted to play (clarinet, flute, alto sax, alto clarinet, piano, violin.. was gonna play oboe but that didn’t work out) except one: cello. That was the original instrument I wanted but when I first started playing music, the cello was bigger than me One day, maybe.

Soup: Have you ever mistaken a person for someone else?
I do this ALL THE TIME. It’s really embarrassing.

Salad: On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?
8.5 or 9. I never tell on purpose but sometimes things slip

Uhm, well if you had seen me panic, you’d have thought the moose that was chewing on my tent mere inches from my head was trying to kill me.

Thirteen Reasons the Internet Annoys Me The really technical babel confuses me. RSS feeds are too easy to break. XML makes me feel like an idiot. Things don’t work the first time I do them. Some people just don’t know how to type. Having to click too many times is obnoxious. Broken things are hard to fix. Things don’t sync right away. I hate designing. My website won’t update itself. wfw:comments makes no sense. Tech support takes too long. Why isn’t it working?!

The Rules:
Each player of this game starts with the “6 weird things about you”. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says “you are tagged” in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

It’s a good thing we put a limit of 6 or I’d be here all day Actually, I probably will be here all day trying to narrow it down to 6 really odd things.

1. I am obsessive compulsive about the file organization on my computer. I’m talking subfolders in subfolders. Especially my MP3 collection. It’s split up in letter groups, with folders for each artist, then each album. Everything is immaculately tagged. File names all using the same form. I’m still trying to find a good way to organize my images.
2. I don’t ever park my car in front of the place I am going. I don’t know why. It drives my mother absolutely insane, but I insist on parking like, 2 rows over.
3. I am extremely indecisive. However, unlike most people who eventually pick something, I just do it all. IE: the time I couldn’t decide what color makeup I wanted to wear. See this comic.
4. It drives me absolutely nuts when I am talking to someone online, then they say bye and immediately sign off before I can say bye back. It makes no sense, and I don’t know why that bothers me, but it does. Pffft.

Last 2 coming later. I’m too sick to concentrate.

Appetizer: What was your very first job with a paycheck?
Hot Topic, a few years ago.

Soup: Did you ever lose something really important to you?
I had this necklace with a ring, a tiny key, and a cross on it. I never took it off, but when I was in choir we weren’t allowed to wear jewelery for our group photo. I took it off and tied it to my bow in the back of my choir dress. Somebody untied it as a joke (we used to do that to eachother all the time) without realizing I had my necklace attached to it. I retraced my footsteps for an hour and never found it

Salad: What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
IPOD! Yay Frankie

Main Course: Tell about a favorite “hang out” place for you and your friends when you were in high school.
Gosh, we always just hung out by the band and choir room. We practically LIVED there haha.

Appetizer: Which language would you like to learn and why?
I always say I’m going to learn Italian, which I guess I could but it’s so similar to Spanish which I already speak… I think I’d like to learn russian, I like the way it sounds. At least how my piano teacher spoke it.

12 year old arrested for opening Christmas gift. The headline did it. The story itself is.. well, just read it.

Salad: Which movie was so bad you couldn’t watch the whole thing?
Garden State. Oh. Em. Gee. SO BORING!!!

Appetizer: Have you ever flown in a helicopter?
Nope, and I’m not sure that I ever would.. looks scary!

Soup: What color is your warmest coat or jacket?
Brown. I stole it from my uncle!

Salad: What is your favorite rainy day activity?
Sitting on the couch with some tea and watching movies, yay! Bonus points for snuggling hehe.

Main Course: Describe your hands.
They are bad piano playing hands as they barely reach octaves. My fingers are kind of chubby and my nails are finally sort of long. I am not biting them anymore. Right now my skin is kind of dry and I only have 3 major creases on my palms.

Dessert: If you could eat only one nut for the rest of your life, what nut would you pick?
Cashews! I love almonds, but sometimes I don’t feel like them. Cashews are my tried and true.

8.5.. I’m pretty honest but I am overdramatic sometimes and things get exagertated sometimes.

Glendale would be Valley Valley, since when you get down to it, that’s what the city is named

Dessert: What stresses you out? What calms you down?
Everything stresses me. I’m a big worry wart. Especially about money. I’m calmed down by sleep, hot baths, and music.

Hmm. Probably about 3-4.

A picture of my computer, so that the future can see how technologically unadvanced we were. (I’d put my whole computer in but then how would I read other blogs?!)

Salad: What is the most interesting tourist attraction you’ve ever visited?
I followed The Freedom Trail in Boston.. it was cool.

Main Course: If you could give an award to anyone for anything, who would it be and what would the award be titled?
I would give Jeff the, “Dealing with Katie” award, only it’d have a more clever name because right now my brain is not working.

Dessert: What do you think your favorite color reveals about your personality?
I think it would reveal something about how random and sporadic I am because even though I wear and work with painfully bright, obnoxious colors, my favorite color is a very muted slate blue.
